Our work with Zebra Interiors is a perfect example.
Zebra Interiors specialises in high-end home staging, creating beautifully considered interiors designed to help properties make the strongest possible impression when they go on the market.
As its portfolio of staging projects has grown, so has the logistical challenge of getting furniture, artwork and accessories from its warehouse into properties, and then back again once the property has been sold.
That’s where we, D&G Moves, come in.
Our team collects furniture and accessories from Zebra Interiors’ warehouse in Harrogate, transports everything carefully to the property and helps position items exactly where they need to go.
Then, typically around eight weeks later, we return to collect everything and bring it back to the warehouse.
It’s not a conventional commercial removal.
It’s commercial logistics with a difference.
When a van and a team can become an extension of another business
One of the things we particularly like about this type of work is that we’re not simply providing a vehicle.
We’re providing people, manpower, equipment, transportation and practical problem-solving.
For a business like Zebra Interiors, having a trusted logistics partner means Deborah and her team can concentrate on what they do best, designing and staging properties for sale, while we take care of the physical side of making those projects happen.
And because D&G Moves has a permanent team and a substantial fleet of vans and trucks, we’re able to take on projects that may be too large, too complex or simply too time-consuming for a smaller transport operation.
We’ve already completed three staging projects with Zebra Interiors, including projects in Harrogate and further afield.
One recent project took our team to Newcastle to help stage a substantial 12,000 sq ft renovation for a professional footballer. The property sold within a week of being staged, and on its very first viewing.
While we can’t claim the sale was down to the removal team, we’re certainly proud to have played our part in getting the property market-ready.
We want to keep our removals fleet moving
For D&G Moves, this type of commercial work represents an exciting opportunity.
